New Adventure, new Chaos Chapter 2. Morisato Keiichi was not a happy camper. It was late at night and he was riding his bike somewhere near the train station to pick up his sister. Of course he won't really mind the fact that his doing this for his little sister or the fact that she called so late asking him to pick her up. He was not happy for the fact that his little sister has the most incredible timing ever. He remember the first time she showed up. He accidentally fell on top of Belldandy and was about to make his first bold move ever, when she showed up interrupting the whole thing. Now, Belldandy and he were alone in the temple for the first time ever since the other goddesses showed up, Urd having gone to some kind of party and Skuld having gone to some kind of mecha convention, and what happens? His little sister manages to call and once again break the mood. Keiichi still didn't understand fully what his little sister said on the phone. She sounded really excited about something, and talked really fast about having no money and being needed to be picked up and something about a super hunk. Keiichi kept on driving until he finally found his sister, standing next to what looked to be a guy around her age. Ranma... Ranma was thinking to himself, while standing next to this girl, Morisato Megumi. He knew if he stayed and follow her to her place or whatever, there was going to be trouble. He could feel it in his bones. Over the years, he had developed some kind of sense telling him that something was going to happen and that sense was going crazy right now. Ranma asked himself that question again for what seem like the hundred times while standing here. He knew he should leave, but something seem to make him stay here. He thought that it might be that he wasn't going to leave a girl who was just attacked all by herself in the same neighborhood. Megumi was too buy thinking to herself to notice that Ranma seemed to be deep in thinking himself. Megumi had taken to studying this young man that's standing beside her. More she looked, the better he appear to be. He was tall, with lean and strong build and it seems not an extra ounce of fat could be found anywhere on him. And he still had the most beautiful blue eyes she had ever seen anywhere. Megumi was about to say something when she heard the distinct sound of her brother's bike. Ever since Skuld did something to it, she could tell her brother's bike anywhere. Ranma also noticed a bike approaching them, the bike seem to have something attached to the side and he realized that must be the side car that Megumi was talking about earlier. Soon, the bike stopped in front of them and rather short man got off of the bike and addressed Megumi. "Megumi, what are you doing here? Your apartment is nowhere near this area" "I know Keiichi" While brother and sister were talking, Ranma started to study this new guy with mild interest. He wasn't built all that strong and he didn't move with what he'll call martial artists grace. He was just an average guy that you'll run into in the street. "Oh, Keiichi, I want you to meet Ranma Saotome, he saved me from bunch of thugs!" "What?" "I got attacked by bunch of thugs, and if he didn't show up, I don't know what would have happened!" Keiichi was rather shocked to hear that. Something bad happening to one of the people he knew. Something that's not related to spiritual nature, he didn't even expect something like this to happen. Sure Keiichi had been attacked by spirits, demons, and actually had been possessed by a demon himself, and Megumi turn into a car and other such thing happened to her, but it was mostly all been taken care of by the goddesses, they were there to take care of it. However, this time, it wasn't spiritual in nature, but human being and he and the goddesses were totally unaware of it. He looked to the man standing next to Megumi and decided then and there that he owed a lot to this guy. He saved his little sister from a danger that he nor the goddesses were aware of. "Hi, my name is Morisato Keiichi and thank you for helping my little sister" "Hey, no problem. It's martial artists duty to help those who can't help themselves" "Keiichi, he doesn't have a place to stay and I thought..." That was as far as she got, she was about to suggest that Keiichi drop them off at her place when Keiichi interrupted. "You don't have a place to stay?" "Well, no, I just got here" "Then I insist that you come stay with me" "Huh?" That was said by both Ranma and Megumi. Ranma didn't know how to take that, and Megumi was rather unhappy at how things are turning out. "I insist, it's the least I can do after you saved my sister" "Um...well I don't want to impose or anything" "It's not a problem, I live in a temple and we have plenty of rooms" "Keiichi, I was thinking that Ranma come and stay with me" When Megumi said that Ranma started to think. "Well, if you insist then I guess I'll stay just for tonight, Keiichi" When Ranma said that, Megumi was not happy and she started to glare at her brother, who ruined a perfect opportunity. "Well, I only have my bike with me and the side car" "No problem, Ranma and I can share the side car!" "Well....I don't know that thing is pretty small" "I insist!" With that Megumi dragged Ranma to the sidecar, sat him down first then climbed in after him, sitting on his lap. Keiichi stare at her sister's behavior, shook his head then got on his bike started it, then drove it off. As soon as Keiichi was out of sight, out of the corner ally way, you could see a dark shape move out to the light. When the figure emerged, it was a female figure in a leather body outfit. "Hmmm....it looks like my assignments just merged with each other. This will make things much easier for me!" With that Mara went back into the dark ally and transported herself away. After Mara disappeared, another figure appeared. "Hmm....so that's the man that our boss is interested in....quite handsome, for a mortal...this assignments just got interesting" With that Karou also faded out of the ally. Temple... Belldandy was preparing a tea and snack for Keiichi, he went to help out his sister and she was sure that he would appreciate her having a snack ready for him, when she felt something. She felt that something was coming and it gave her both feeling of happiness and sadness. Belldandy being the goddess of the present did not usually get premonition, that was her sister Skuld's department, but she was the goddess of present, and was naturally in touch with the universe and mother nature so she did get feelings. She was deep in thought when she heard Keiichi's bike arrive. "Oh, Keiichi's home...and it seems like he brought a guest" With that Belldandy made her way out to greet her Keiichi and the guest. Outside... "You live here?" Ranma was looking around the temple. It was really a temple, and it was pretty big place. "Well, yeah" "My brother lives here with his girlfriend and her sisters" "Welcome back Keiichi, nice to see you again Megumi, and Hello to you" "Oh, Belldandy, this is Ranma Saotome, he helped Megumi out, Ranma this is Belldandy" Ranma was looking at Belldandy with mixture of shock and interest. Soon as she came out of the house, he felt some kind of power. Now looking at her he felt peace radiating from her, and she reminded him so much of Kasumi. However, that wasn't what he was most interested in. What he was interested in was the pure power she was giving off. It was true, Belldandy even with her limiter on was giving off lot of power. She is goddess first class unlimited license and Saffron was only a demi-god. "Um....nice to meet you Belldandy, I'm Ranma" "Welcome to our house Ranma, won't you place come in?" With that Belldandy indicated that Ranma and other should go inside Ranma still little shocked at the power that Belldandy was radiating, went in without much noticing that he was walking. Elsewhere... "I have seen our target boss" "Oh?" "And he seems to be staying with Morisato Keiichi" "What?" "Last time I saw was him riding off in a bike with Keiichi and his little sister" "Hmm....somehow everything we do seems to tie in with him. It might because of the goddesses that are living with him" "What do you want me to do now boss?" "You will continue your current assignment, acquiring this mortal is first priority then Keiichi, do you understand me Mara?" "Sure boss" With that Mara faded out, only to be replaced by Karou. "What have you found out about this mortal?" "It seems you were right about him" "Oh?" "He is definitely someone that our side can use" "Explain" "It seems that his life has been surrounded by chaos, if we can turn that to our side, we will make up for when we lost Raijin and Fujin to the other side. Actually we might get the upper hand" "Hmm....anything else?" "Yes, this mortal is the same one that defeated Saffron 2 years ago" "What?!" "Yes, this mortal is the one that defeated Saffron, the demi-god" "Interesting....a mortal that can kill a demi-god.....We must have him on our side! Imagine what he can do with the power that I will grant him! He might even be our key to heaven's undoing!" "Of course boss" With that Karou faded out leaving the man thinking to himself of the glorious victory over the enemy. Elsewhere... "My Lord" "What is it?"
